Po pierwsze nowy port Surakuz. Odkad tylko przybylam na Sycylie, ten temat zawsze byl na ustach wszystkich, zarowno wladz jak i mieszkancow. Co chwila dowiadywalam sie o nowych planach modernizacji, rekonsctrukcji, innowacji portu. Politycy co rusz obiecywali i informowali o swoich pomyslach i planach. Co wiecej, prace juz sie nawet zaczely, ale potem, bez waznego tak naprawde powodu zostaly zanichane. My, mieszkancy Syrakuz bylismy swiadkami "wynuzania" sie wielkich cementowych blokow jeden po drugim, ktore mialy okazac sie "szkieletem" calego projektu i ktore mialy byc "wrzucone" do morza i co nigdy potem nie nastapilo... A teraz to. Nowy projekt ze zdjeciami i opisami i zakladanym czasem ukonczenia prac (lato 2015)

Firstly, the new port/marina of Siracusa. Ever since I came to Sicily, this port has always been a hot topic. I have heard about reconstruction, modernization, upgrading, transformation projects. Politicians informing, promising and describing their ideas and plans regarding the new port. What's more, the process of building the new port has actually started and then, out of no good reason, stopped. We, Siracusa residents, witnessed emerging big, hideous pieces of cement on the coastline (which supposedly were the "skeleton" for the new project) and which were later meant to be moved/thrown into the water and which obviously never actually happened. And now this. A brand new project with pictures, "demos" and complete information and expected time to complete it (4 years).

Po drugie, Lady Gaga. Nigdy nie bylam jej fanka, wydawala mi sie po prostu wielkiem komercyjnym produktem marketingowym ubranym w dziwne "konstrukcje", majacym na celu wywolanie skandalu i tym samym wszechobecnosc w mediach. Jej wystepy wyobrazalam sobie zawsze jako typowe dla Madonny show, z tysiacami swietnych tancerzy, milionem efektow specjalnych, gry swiatel, aby tylko "zagluszyc" malo interesujacy glos i wydobyc najbardziej sklandaliczne zachowania Lady Gaga. I co? Wczoraj uslyszlam po raz pierwszy jej wystep na zywo, podczas ubieglotygodnowych demonstracji gejow i lesbijek w Rzymie. Zatkalo mnie. Nie mialam pojecia, ze gra na pianinie (jak sie doczytalam, zaczela lekcje gry w wieku 4 lat!) i ze spiewa tak dobrze na zywo. Posluchajcie sami:

Secondly, Lady Gaga. I was never hooked on her. She seemed to me to be a great commercial product dressed in strange “constructions”, designed to bring about scandal and omnipresence in the media. I always imagined her performances as a typical Madonna-like- shows, with thousands of wonderful dancers, a cascade of special effects, lights, just to "drown out" not very interesting voice and bring out the most scandalous behavior of hers. And then? Well, yesterday, for the very first time, I heard her live performance, during last week gay and lesbian demonstration in Rome. I was speechless. I had no idea that she was playing the piano (I have just read on Wikipedia, she began piano lessons at the age of 4!) and that she sings so well live. Just listen:

A ticket and waiting for sales...

Wczoraj, jak zwykle zaparkowalam samochod blisko szkoly, w miejscu, gdzie parkowac moga tylko mieszkancy wyspy na ktorej pracuje, oraz tzw "uprawinieni", czyli osoby posiadajace tzw "pass" (przepustke) z powodu pracy na przyklad. Ja oczywiscie taka posiadam, dlatego nie przejmuje sie za bardzo nakazami i zakazami, ktore niektorych potrafia przyprawic o bol glowy i godzinne poszukiwanie miejsca do zaparkowania.

Jakiez bylo moje zdumienie, kiedy po skonczonej pracy pod przednia wycieraczka znalazlam mandat informujacy mnie o zaparkowaniu w miejscu mi niedozwolonym! Oczywiscie po przyjsciu z pracy do domu, natychmiast zatelefonowalam do R. proszac o znalezione mi jakiegos dobrego adwokata! Hihi! On jednak przyzwyczajony jest do tych ciaglych prosb o porady i wie, ze czesto wpadam w jakies niedorzeczne tarapaty, wiec ze stoickim spokojem zapytal co sie stalo tym razem :) Wyjasnilam szybko i oczywiscie R przyznal mi racje. Dzis rano, R wzial mandat i zaczal mu sie dokladnie przygladac. Nagle powiedzial: "ktos zrobil Ci zart!". Jak to??! Otoz okazalo sie, ze mandat byl dla kogos innego i ten nie chcac go placic wlozyl mi go za wycieraczke w nadzieji, ze ktos inny zaplaci za niego!!! € 39,00! Czy mozecie sobie to wyobrazic?!

Oto mandat:

Yesterday, as usual, I parked my car near the school, in a place where only residents and so-called "authorized", ie persons who possess a "pass" because of work, for example. Which, of course I have, so I do not worry too much about “no parking zones”, which can give some headache to those who are not “authorized” and who are in search for a parking space.

Imagine my surprise when, after finishing my work at the front windshield wiper I found a ticket informing me I parked in a wrong place! Of course, after returning home, I immediately telephoned R and asked him to find me a good lawyer! Haha! He is obviously accustomed to these bizarre requests as he knows how often I fall into some ridiculous trouble, so he stoically asked what happened this time:) I explained quickly, and of course R told me I was right. This morning, R looked at the ticket and suddenly said: "Someone made you a joke. " How's that?! Well, it turned out that the ticket was for someone else and since the person had no intention whatsoever to pay it, they put it under my wiper in the hope of making someone else do it! € 39.00! Can you imagine?

Let's talk about sth nice.

Ok, oto moj obiecany post optymistyczny. Nie bede opisywac moich pozytywnych wizji na temat swiata i mojego zycia osobistego. Po prostu podziele sie z Wami, kilkoma informacjami i zdjeciami, ktorych widok cieszy mnie ogromnie.

Ok, here is my promised optimistic post. I will not describe my positive vision about the world and my personal life. I’ll just share with you some information and photos, the sight of which I enjoy tremendously.

Po pierwsze fartuchy. Teraz wiecej czasyu bede spedzala w domu. Moze zatem sprawie sobie jeden z tych nietypowych fartuszkow? Co myslicie? Ja jestem zachwycona oryginalnoscia i pomyslowoscia autora. Fartuch, w ktorym mozna wyjsc na ulice i robic zakupy bez zazenowania! Super. Popieram na 100%. Fartuchy szyje Pani Urszula i sa one uniwersalne, tzn rozmiarowo pasuje na kazdego. First aprons. Now, I’ll spend more time at home. Perhaps, I’ll get one of these beautiful aprons? What do you think? I am delighted to see their originality and ingenuity. Apron, in which you can go out and do grocery shopping without embarrassment! Superb. Aprons are made by Mrs Urszula and sized to fit everyone. There are also proposals for the gentlemen. Poza tym, moze nie wszystko sie konczy. W poprzednim poscie pisalam o przesycie i nadmiarze. I oto wiadomosc, ze prace porzuconego kilka miesiecy temu projektu wielkiego outletu odziezowego (ok 100 sklepow) mimo stworzonej juz struktury kolo miasta w ktorym mieszkam zostaly wznowione!

Besides, maybe not everything ends. In the previous post I wrote about satiation, glut and excess. And here's the news that the abandoned several months ago work on the project of a great clothing outlet (about 100 stores), despite the already created structures near the town in which I live has been resumed!
